Christmas Eve Service

This is the season of Christmas, when all of us express our love to each other through the giving and receiving of gifts, just as the wise men did when they saw Jesus. We, as Christ followers, will have the opportunity to reflect on the birth of Jesus Christ and express the Love of God, as he exemplified when he gave his son as a gift to us. So this Christmas Eve, we will be looking at how that LOVE CAME DOWN and created in us a heart of giving and celebrating.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.” …10 When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! 11 They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Matthew 2:1–2 & 10–11 (NLT)
